Highlights and lowlights can add contrast, brighten around the face or create dimension throughout the hair while maintaining some of your natural depth.

Depending on your goals, we can maintain full coverage, soften the transition or use dimensional color to make regrowth less noticeable.
Already happy with your color? A root touch-up can maintain new growth without unnecessarily recoloring the rest of your hair.

Gray’s offers combination appointments for clients who want to refresh their color and haircut during the same visit.
Depending on your goal, options combine root color, all-over color or highlights with a customized haircut and blow-dry.

If your hair has previous color, uneven tone, banding, unwanted darkness or you’re trying to make a significant color change, don’t guess which appointment to book.
Start with a consultation.
We’ll look at your color history, current condition and desired result before recommending the safest and most realistic plan. Consultations are free and held in person at the studio.

Do color prices change with my hair length?
They can. Color, highlight and balayage pricing may vary with the length and density of your hair. The booking menu shows current pricing, and a consultation gives you a more accurate estimate.
What does a root touch-up cover?
A touch-up covers regular regrowth of about 4 to 6 weeks, roughly half an inch to one inch, and includes a blow-dry.
Is toner included with highlights?
Yes. Highlight services, partial balayage and ombré include toner. Highlights and partial balayage also include a blow-dry.
Do haircuts include a shampoo and blow-dry?
Women’s and men’s haircuts include a shampoo and blow-dry. Children’s haircuts do not.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. It’s recommended when you want a new look or it’s your first visit with Gray. You’ll talk through your hair goals, options, time and pricing.
